The Limbrey candlesticks were inspired by the shape of silver pieces designed by Robert Welch in 1963. He was commissioned by Heal’s to create a range of table silver for sale in their London shop. The collection was shown at a special exhibition at Heal’s in 1964, and items on display would be made to commission from the Chipping Campden Workshop.

This modern interpretation is made from 18/10 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish and a wooden base made from oiled Walnut. The hourglass shape of the candlestick reflects the flicker of a candle’s flame, diffusing light throughout its surroundings. The contrast of highly reflective stainless steel and warm walnut accentuates the pleasing shape of the candlestick.
