Maids milk, ladies dance and lords leap in her 12 Days of Christmas series, released over four years and now available as a complete set. These much-loved musical marvels now adorn trees and mantelpieces the world over.
A whimsical stocking, beautifully decorated tree and perfectly wrapped present decorations followed, resplendent with hearts, holly, ivy and mistletoe.
These stylistic Christmas Treasures proved to be the start of a growing series of festive decorations brought to life in Kit’s sketchbook – covetable pieces designed to be displayed and enjoyed, year after year.
EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY
Drawing inspiration from the rituals and recipes that define the festive season, Kit looked to three enduring Christmas favourites that evoke memories of family gatherings, memorable meals and joyful celebrations.
A plump Christmas pudding, sugar-sprinkled mince pie and cheery gingerbread man were perfected on the page, then crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel designed to catch and reflect the winter light.
They’re the best of festive feasting wrapped up in three, delicious motifs. Individually tied with a claret ribbon, they’re perfect to hang on the tree, weave into a wreath or garland and are light enough to slip inside a Christmas card to special friends.

“I wanted to create something that immediately captured the spirit of Christmas again,” says Kit. “They’re a natural partner to the Christmas Treasures collection with the same, nostalgic, folksy theme – but this time focused on food and special celebrations around the table. It is, after all, what we’re all about here at Robert Welch.”
The gingerbread man has a beaming smile, hearts for buttons and a jaunty bow around his neck. The mince pie, with its sparkling, sugary top, is sprinkled with holly and mistletoe. While the pudding is crowned – just as it would be at the table – with a generous sprig of holly.
